EXCLUSIVE: Teachable teams up to support new creator competition series; hear from our Director of Brand, Content, and Creative

In case you haven’t heard, we have some big news over here at Teachable. In partnership with Sonic God Studios, Amazon Prime, and some major players in the creator economy space, Teachable is bringing you the first-ever intense timeframe competition for early-stage entrepreneurs—announcing 60 Day Hustle

We believe in creators as game changers in the entrepreneurial world so much that we’ve built a platform and tools to support creators like you monetize your knowledge and build a more impactful business through online courses, coaching, and digital downloads. And now, we’re thrilled to show support for real people taking on real challenges in 60 Day Hustle.

Teachable’s very own Director of Brand, Content, and Creative, Bethany Cantor, is sharing why supporting creators and budding entrepreneurs on 60 Day Hustle was such a no-brainer and powerful moment for Teachable!

Why is a show like 60 Day Hustle important for creators, especially those in the education and knowledge space?

“It all comes down to visibility. Creators and entrepreneurs of all types are changing the economy right in front of our eyes. They’re changing the way people shop, the way they earn money, and the way they learn. We’ve seen glimpses of entrepreneurship on TV before, on shows like Shark Tank, but to go behind the scenes and see what it actually takes to establish a business that will grow and be successful is something really new. I think people will discover a new respect for creators after this show and hopefully they’ll want to support these creators and others as well”

Why is Teachable so excited to sponsor 60 Day Hustle?

“We’ve been supporting creators and listening to their challenges and wins for ten years. When we first heard about the opportunity to be a part of this show it felt like such a win for a community that we feel deeply connected to. We really felt that we were in a position to not only help these contestants succeed, but also, to help viewers learn how they might make their own entrepreneurial dreams a reality. That’s why you’ll see Teachable creators like Chris Do on the show, appearing as a mentor for the contestants. We felt it was important not just to integrate as a sponsor into the show, but also to provide true mentorship for the contestants from creators who’ve found success and increased their own impact. Knowledge sharing is a really fantastic way to grow a business and we want more creators to understand that and feel empowered to launch their own knowledge-based products.”

What are you most excited for viewers to see in the show?

“The lessons these entrepreneurs learn and how those can be applied to any business. This is more than a reality show, it’s really a master class in scaling a brand and a business, it should be fun to watch but also really informative.”

Some Teachable creators are even on the show as mentors. Why do you think these creators are such amazing picks to help others learn and grow?

“Chris Do was such a natural fit for this project. He has such clarity around his business strategies and possesses a real drive to help other creators find similar success.”

You were on set for some of the filming, what surprised you most about the show?

“This might sound funny but the warmth of the judges! This really is a show about learning and growing. It was crystal clear during filming that the judges are deeply invested in the success of these contestants and that’s great to see. Reality TV can be brutal at times but this show is fun and energizing and entertaining.”

If there were one thing you’d hope a current Teachable creator OR a future Teachable creator were to walk away with after watching the show, what would it be?

“That businesses of all types can succeed with focus and commitment. And that monetizing your knowledge is a no brainer. If you’ve been through something and you can demystify it for others, if you’ve got an off-the-wall skill, if you have deep operational knowledge that is hard to find, people are waiting to learn from you! I hope people watch the show and get inspired to level up their businesses and think bigger. Creators are here to stay and this show is just the beginning of more of their success stories being known and celebrated.”
